From the Owner and Brewer himself...Aaron Browne.

I have been fascinated by the craft beer scene since 2001. I started touring breweries all along the east coast to learn about the process of brewing craft beer from 2001-2012.

In 2012 my brother Ryan bought me a 1 gallon brewing kit & I was instantly hooked to the freedom of creating delicious ales. In late 2012, I ventured away from brewing kits & started formulating my own recipes, focusing on easy drinking malty ales. I really focused on stouts that are light to medium in body but full flavor.

In 2013 I entered my first competition & won 2nd place with my Smoked Stout recipe which would later become our flagship ale the Smoking Musket Stout.

In 2015 I won multiple awards for different beers in 1 competition. Most noted BEST OVERALL beer ( Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout) & 1st place for the same beer in the stout category. Later that year my cousin & I decided we needed to introduce the Hudson Valley to my ales.

In 2016 we purchased a small 1 barrel brewing system & shortly after we received our NYS farm brewing license & boom! We were off & brewing.

In 2017 we found the location in the Village of Wappingers Falls. We would build the brewery over the next 7 months. We wanted a space we could not only brew high quality NY ales but a place to have live music, comedy shows & entertainment. We upgraded to a 5 barrel brew house & opened our doors to public on April 13th 2018. 

From the very start, my goal has always been to create NY/Hudson Valley ales to give everyone delicious everyday drinking beers full of flavor to create a farm to glass experience. 

My philosophy behind my brewing style is to work very closely with local farms & create ales that are drinkable year round for everyone, utilizing 100% NY/Hudson Valley ingredients.
